Everything Old is New

I am always looking for new ways to to express myself through art. Lately I have become very interested in the animate GIF as fine art. I have begun experimenting with older images (my own work), doing both animations and hand/or digital coloring. It was during one of these experiments that I realized something. I don’t need to constantly be making new photographs to be an artist / photographer. In fact, even if I were to never-ever pick up a camera again, I would still be an artist and have the capability of producing art for decades to come.

This is one of those hand-coloring experiments I recently did on an image I created in 1995. It’s so much fun to breath new life into old works! I plan to make regular updates to this post with new (old) work regularly added so stay tuned.
