Shoot Now, Focus Later: A Little Camera To Change The Game : The Picture Show : NPR.

As a fine art photographer, I actually prefer to do my focusing before I click the shutter, believe it or not. Im not impressed by this latest digital camera. I still shoot film, real photographers shoot film. Digital cameras are animals of convenience, pure unadulterated convenience. Perhaps soon they will invent a camera that does all the thinking, all the creativity for you. You won’t even have to leave the house, just send the camera out to take the pictures.
This latest “gadget” is just another example of that convenience mentality. No thank you. I will continue to shoot medium format film with my Hasselblad
